Have you ever thought
about becoming a police officer?
It’s really a cool job. You get to
carry a gun and order people
around— and if they don’t do
what you say, you can beat them
up or take them to jail. Or both.
You get to park in a no-parking
zone while you have lunch
with other cops, who have also
parked in no-parking zones.
The uniform is pretty cool, too;
it helps to pick up chicks.
But seriously, if you have
ever thought about becoming
a police officer, the Key West
Police Department (KWPD) is
offering five scholarships to an
upcoming police academy class
at Florida Keys Community
College. This is true. We’re not
making this up.
